Mosanco Enchanted Cafe – The Treehouse

Newly opened in Bedok in Oct 2020, Mosanco Enchanted café – The treehouse is the latest of 3 outlets. Every outlet has a different theme with the first at Rangoon road, 2nd outlet at Bukit Timah named secret garden and the latest the treehouse at Bedok.

Internally, you can see that the owners tries to bring out the theme with the log wall paper which is similarity used at the main entrance as well as the 2 sets of tables and chairs right at the front of the café shaped like tree trunks. The rest of the café looks pretty similar to many other cafes with the white brick wall and neon light signage.

As we came pretty late, some of their popular items like their cold brew was out of stock so we settled for good old fashioned tea. You can find their menu here . The tea was served in these extremely quaint and beautiful teapots and tea cups which reminds me of tea in the garden in a fairytale. The tea selection was quite interesting with most of them a mix of flavours rather than just a single teabag. The one I ordered was witch’s spelling spell which had a fusion of roselle and mint leaves with dried fruits and berries while my friend had the enchantress potion which was early grey infused with rose and cherry blossoms. Both tea were quite tasty and you could taste the tea blends very well.

We also ordered the rose chocolate latte which also came in this pretty teacup. While the chocolate was creamy and sweet but the rose flavour was not as strong as we would have liked it

Lastly, we also ordered the acai bowl which is one of the popular items of the café. Served with organic acai pulps and pumpkin seeds and chia seeds, the bowl is topped with a variety of fresh fruits likes strawberries, blueberries and bananas. The acai bowl was very refreshing with just enough sweetness as a dessert or a main meal as well.

Overall, The treehouse has a cosy and comfortable environment for chilling out in the hot weather or simply grabbing a quick meal or caffeine fix. The drinks and food served is also quite decent. There are also some hot food served which I could not review as we were too late. While the theme is not too fantastic, the offerings are quite sufficient to make it a café worth visiting.
