Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura Ekimae

There are many good hotels in Fukuoka but the best place to stay is within Hakata. One of the best hotel is nestled in a location you cannot beat. The Daiwa Roynet Hotel is a popular Japanese chain of hotels available in many locations throughout Japan.

Nestled in a cluster of buildings just next to the bus station and train station, the Daiwai Roynet hotel has parking facilities for guests who are driving for a fee. There is an attendant who will help you with the car and gives you a parking tag to collect your car when you leave.

The check in lobby is located on the 2nd floor and is brightly lit and cosy. The check in process was fairly quick and the staff very professional and friendly. Upon check in, we were given a bag of free gifts which I will show at the end of the post.

Payment is collected at these payment machines right next to the check in counter. As my booking was prepaid, I did not get to use the machines but they were fairly easy to use for both cash and card. If you face any problems, you can get help from the staff

There is a nice small lounge by the side of the lobby for customers to watch TV and relax or just rest if they are too early for check in. There is also washroom as well as a smoking room for smokers since all of their rooms are non smoking rooms.

The entire hotel is modern, clean and extremely well maintained even the corridors are brightly lit and clean.

The room is small which is typically in most Japanese hotel rooms especially those located within the city. A small double bed is right next to the wall with little walking space between the bed and the desk.

There is a small armchair by the window with a coffee table. The desk houses a mini bar fridge, cabinet with electric kettle, cups and tea bags. There is also a small area by the main door where you can hand your clothes and where a small safe is located.

This is the bag of gift that was given to us at check in which includes a facial mask, tea bags and drip coffee bags as well as aroma bath salts which can be used in the bath tubs.

Overall, my stay at Daiwa Roynet is perfect as the service is immaculate and professional and the rooms while small is clean and cosy. The location is the best as it is 3 mins walk from the bus station and the train station, 2 mins walk to many convenience stores as well as the walking street full of shops and restaurants. There are full of food choice just around the hotel
