We chanced upon this cafe as we were just looking for a place to chill with drinks and snacks after dinner. Located in Starhill Mall, which is just next to our hotel, it was the only place open past 9.30 pm
The cafe was mainly dressed in a princess pink colour and decor with shiny neon lights and different staged areas for Instagram photos. Packed with floral and cutesy stuff, I think this cafe should be pretty popular amongst the young crowd, as well as Instagram cafe goers
They served quite a selection of cakes, desserts, sweet bakes and even ice-cream, which was all displayed at the counters. Despite looking all sweet and pretty, they do have quite an extensive menu, which offers hot meals, salads, light meals and snacks. You can view their menu

As I was feeling a little peckish for savoury food, I ordered the tartines, which are slices of toasted baguette bread with different toppings. I had the mushroom with avocados and smoked chicken with zucchini. The flavours were balanced, light and delicious, although I would have preferred the bread to be buttered and more crispy, as it was a little soggy when I bit into it. The overall flavours are refreshing and light on the stomach, similar to savoury sandwiches you get during traditional English high tea

We also ordered the pistachio cake for sharing, which was also a pretty slice of cake loaded with fruits and flower petals. They were extremely generous with the pistachio nuts, which were scattered in between the layers of sponge cake and cream frosting. The cakes were full of nutty flavours and not overly sweet, and the flowers did not add anything to the flavours; the fruits provided nice bursts of acidity, which gave the cakes a nice balance
For drinks, I had the tea, which came in this interesting apparatus which stops the flow of the tea with a magnet. Nothing too much to say about the tea since I ordered a normal chamomile tea. My friend ordered the sky blue mocktail, which was also served in a cute container which looks like a bubble on a swing. The mocktail is made of apple juice, pineapple juice, yoghurt, blue lagoon syrup and sugar syrup. I am not a fan of mocktails since they are usually too sweet for me, which is the same for this drink, but they do look nice for photos
They do have a whole lot of Instagrammable drinks and food, with a page just dedicated to them, so those following their account will be exhilarated with the number of options they have to post on their gram. Just by judging the snack and cake we had, the food quality is passable, although some drinks and food are too artificially coloured
