Cicerello’s

The lunch included in the Wildlife tour was at Mandurah’s Cicerello’s and there was a set menu of 3 choices to choose from; the chicken, fish and chips and pasta. Kids also have their own selection of nuggets and fish and chips.

The Cicerello’s at Mandurah was just by the jetty and had great views. Right at the entrance was the order counter with the menu above

There was also a huge fish tank in the middle of the restaurant with sea coral fishes and a bar and cafe to the right side

There were limited seats on the first floor as the kitchen was also located on the first floor. Most of the tables were right next to the windows with great river view

There are also seats available on the 2nd floor for bigger groups of customers

There was also a pictorial menu available in front of the order counters

This was the kid’s meal included as part of the tour for kids rate. There were about 5 pieces of nuggets and some fries. The fact that the rate covers kids up to 14 of age, I found this serving too small to be for lunch

The chicken cheese cutlet included for the adult fare was pretty awesome. It was served with fries and a side salad. The chicken was succulent and filled with cheesy goodness

As the nuggets were too pathetic for my 13-year-old nephew, I ordered an additional chicken burger which was a huge serving. The burger had a fried chicken patty which was crispy and juicy. The bun was lightly toasted and complemented the patty well.

I spotted the seafood chowder on the menu and had to give it a try and there were no regrets. The soup came in a huge serving with generous servings of mussels, fish and squid. The broth itself was thick and creamy with a nice savoury taste from the seafood itself. The soup was very filling and could be a meal for 1 person

I was craving grilled squid but the staff introduced me to their semi fried squid with a light batter which was crispy and not oily. The batter was light so you can taste the sweetness of the squid which was cooked well

Overall, Cicerello’s served good seafood at a pretty affordable price and the Mandurah outlet had a great view while you dine.
