Since it’s inaugural launch in Singapore in 1999, Marmalade Pantry has been attracting diners with their sumptuous food and delicious desserts. A part of Refinery Concepts group, the brand has 4 outlets with their flagship at ION Orchard.
A homegrown brand, marmalade pantry is one of my favourite cafes in Singapore with it’s warm and welcoming outlets. The menu is always innovating with new collaborations the latest with one of the SG masterchef contestant.
The outlet at Ion has both open concept and indoor enclosed seats. The ones at the center of the mall has more seating but is open to all shoppers walking past
The indoor ones have a smaller seating capacity and you can see the coffee bar counter. These seats are more suitable for private or serious discussions
One of the flagship menu item is the sticky date pudding dessert which is probably the best in town. The dessert is served with a huge scope of vanilla ice-cream and fruits and drizzled with sauce. The pudding itself is sweet and caramelized with great texture. The entire combination is fantastic.
The perfect way to enjoy the dessert is with a great pot of tea.
The mango smoothie is thick and creamy with great mango flavour and fragrance. The drink itself is a dessert itself.
Overall, even though I did not review any hot food, Marmalade Pantry is a great cafe that serves good food with a nice atmosphere for serious and casual gatherings.
