There were plenty of reviews for this restaurant on Trip advisors as well as many food review blogs.

The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the building and is medium in size with tables for 20 to 30 groups of customers

There are also a couple of tables which has a nice window view of the street and is quite popular with customers

The menu for En Sushi was so colourful and realistic that you feel like eating the menu itself. This also means that you have the tendency to want to order almost everything

First up to start the feasting, we ordered the onsen egg with salmon roe and sea urchin. The egg was creamy and pretty raw with a light soy sauce and the uni and ikura provided an additional layer of flavours to the dish which was extremely tasty

We ordered the sashimi platter which had salmon belly, normal salmon, tuna belly, yellowtail, swordfish, octopus as well as salmon roe. The fishes were all very fresh and the cut was thick and generous.

We also ordered the Cho toro and the uni which were fresh and sweet although still one grade far from the ones in Japan. The Cho toro was smooth and oily but I felt still not exactly a melt in your mouth experience. The uni had zero metallics after taste which means it is very fresh but did not have the sweetness in it like the ones in Japan. Not comparing to Japan, these are still quite worth the price

The jumbo oyster was fat and juicy and sweet as it came with spring onions and grated radish.

The scallops sushi was generous in size and the scallops were sweet and fresh

The California handroll had fresh and crispy seaweed with sweet crab stick and fresh cucumber and avocado. The flavours were very balanced and the amount of rice used was also just nice

The baked cheese oysters were very fragrant with juicy oyster meat

The fried tofu had a crispy crust and soft insides which was pretty unique in taste

It is not easy to get well-grilled squid and the ones here has a nice grilled fragrant yet juicy and crunchy bite. It was no wonder that this dish was on almost every table as it was really one of the best-grilled squids I had in a Japanese restaurant

We also had one of the rolls recommended by the staff which had grilled salmon with fish cake, cucumber and mentaiko. The roll was very balanced in terms of taste and it was really very delicious

Overall, En Sushi has extremely good quality Japanese food at pretty affordable prices and is great for gatherings and quality dinner gathering. Every dish is so good on the menu that it is hard to resist ordering the entire menu. We left the restaurant extremely stuffed to the brim and definitely return for more
