When it comes to Bangkok, most people’s itinerary includes shopping, eating, massage and cafe hopping. As a regular visitor to Bangkok, I am consistently on the lookout for new restaurants and cafes as well as new things to do

The Space & Time Cube is a series of immersive, high-tech, and interactive art museums located in Asia and their locations include Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Philippines. After having visited Team Labs in Tokyo the year before, I was highly intrigued with installations like this and decided to find time during the trip to visit them
Located in Seacon Bangkae mall, it took us close to 45 minutes to get there by car. While being far from the usual tourist center, the mall was an extremely popular one amongst locals and you can tell with the crowd and the lesser understanding of English from the staff. The space features 27+ immersive rooms, a “Mirror Maze,” “Ocean of Stars,” and a “Golden Waterfall
The basic tickets costs 649 baht and you can also buy their combo tickets which included the VR theatre and rail cinema. You can buy them online via their own website or many different platforms. We chose to buy on site as we were not sure if we had time to travel there. The exhibition starts off with some simple displays and light installations
Moving on to areas where they have huge decorations and setups which is similar to tricke eye musuem where pictures can be taken at angles for illusion pictures like falling off the stairwell, or giant house with huge furniture or moving trains. At this point, I wasn’t that impressed but the next few parts was much more interesting
The next few rooms were mainly light installations which were great for photos and just taking in the immersive lights
There were other rooms which were more interactive and lights takes shapes and form when it interacts with the visitors
Like this small cube where sitting inside makes you feel like you are in the bottom of the ocean

The exit is connected back to the entry point where there is a small merchandise shop with a mixture of items
Overall, while it is not as impactful as Team Labs in Tokyo, we did spend a fun afternoon here taking pictures and just enjoying the different display and installations and it is something different from what we usually do in Bangkok
