Located at One North Fusionopolis area, CU Mr Bull is relatively new in the area offering decent Korean dishes for the lunch crowd.

The restaurant’s fairly simple and fuss-free decor includes tables indoors and outdoors, both with air conditioning. Due to the small space, they kept the number of tables limited to let customers enjoy the spacious atmosphere with good separation space between tables. The light yellow walls and full floor-to-ceiling windows give the restaurant ample natural lighting and give an overall cheerful feeling
The menu at CU Mr Bull is limited to a few signature items; the bibimbap, bibimmyeon, fried chicken, Seolleongtang and spicy braised chicken. The first time I was there, I ordered the bibimmyeon which came with a side of kimchi. The fried chicken was an extra order. The kimchi was decent with a balanced flavour. The noodle came with shredded chicken, cucumbers, radish and egg. You can also opt for the beef option. The noodles were like glass noodles but with a more chewy texture which was great with the sweet, spicy and sour sauce. The dish itself is really very appetizing and easy on the stomach and I really like it on a hot day when the appetite is bad

The fried chicken was extremely crispy and savoury with the soy-flavoured coating which did not affect the crispiness of the skin of the wings. The meat inside is tender and juicy which was a perfect match with the crispy exterior

The 2nd time I visited, I ordered the spicy braised chicken which was served with a bowl of rice. The spicy chicken came with chunks of carrots and potatoes as well as sliced onions which was perfect with rice. The sauce was not as spicy as it looked and it had a slightly sweet aftertaste which was good for me since I cannot take too spicy food. I tried this dish in Korea before and I find that their version is quite authentic with generous servings
Overall, I find the food pretty authentic and delicious even though most of the dishes are simple. I like that the taste is clean and not too complicated and is great for lunch without overpowering flavours. The price is decent and the service is also quick and friendly
