Having heaps of Thai milk tea in Bangkok is definitely a must and with throngs of social media posts arguing which is the best milk tea, it is hard to make choices

I was checking out the new Emsphere mall when I really wanted to sit down and grab a drink and rest my feet at the same time when this extravagant-looking cafe attracted me. Housed in this glittering 2-storey cafe with seats on both the ground floor and 2nd floor, Pang Cha is one of the newest kids in town offering a huge variety of traditional Thai milk teas and fusion teas and Thai milk bingsu

The cashier counter is on the first floor where you can place your order from their menu and get a number card. The server will bring your order to you when it is ready

They have a wide range of drinks and desserts; the most popular being the Thai Milk Tea bingsu. Their price ranges from THB 140 to THB 400 where the bingsu selections are the highest in price
We ordered an iced and hot tea and as I wanted to balance the sweetness of the bingsu I ordered, my hot tea was with lemon but without sugar. I regretted it once I tasted the tea as it was extremely bitter since the brew was extremely thick and heavy. The tea flavour was overpowering and even as a tea lover, it was way too strong for me. It tasted like a half packet of tea leaves brewing in 1 cup. I finished the tea only in between spoonfuls of the bingsu to balance the sweetness

The star of the show was the Thai Milk Tea bingsu which was topped with cream, nuts, dried fruits and crispy bread. The bingsu was decorated immaculately with a cute branded sign on top of the cream and served in a golden boat-shaped bowl. The bingsu is very sweet just like the local Thai milk tea with 100% sugar. Sweet tooth customers would rejoice and love this as it is really quite delicious on a hot day. As I cannot take too much sweet food, I do find it too sweet for me that I need to take a sip of my tea after a few spoonfuls of the bingsu
Overall, I like the cafe atmosphere to chill in and maybe there are other less sweet items on the menu for me to choose from the next time I visit
